It's our first official working bee since the easing of restrictions!
Please note that we MUST limit numbers to no more than 10 people at any one time. If you would like to come along, please register by booking a ticket below so that we do not exceed this. Your details are required so that we can keep them on record for contact tracing purposes. There are two time slots available: 12.30 - 2pm, and 2 - 3.30pm.
By booking a spot you agree to:
- Wear a mask at all times
- Adhere to social distancing and hygiene guidelines
- Sanitise all equipment after use (or bring your own if possible)
A few of the tasks we'll be doing:
- Planting sunflowers(!!)
- Planting more Summer crops, including tomatoes and tomatillos (if you have any seedlings/seeds to donate, bring them along!)
- Watering our newly planted crops
- Fixing broken irrigation lines
- Getting to work on our Koorie Bush Foods garden, including uncovering existing plants from underneath the weeds
- Weeding the gravel paths
- (Hopefully) harvesting some mulberries, Warrigal greens, and maybe even some strawberries!
If you have any questions, email Jess at administrator@morelandcommunitygardening.org.
